Where kids can eat free or for £1 in May half term 2025

With the help of hotukdeals, a community that shares deals and discounts, we’ve compiled a list of restaurants and cafés where you can feed your kids for free (or almost free) in London and the rest of the UK.

There are loads of options, from hotels for when you’re on the go, to supermarket cafés and chain restaurants you can find all over the country.

Make sure to check these deals are available in your area and during the same dates as your child’s half term holiday, as well as the exact times and days they are valid.

Where kids can eat free or for £1 this May half term

Casual dining restaurants

• Angus Steakhouse – Kids under 10 eat free from the children’s menu when an adult orders a main. Offer valid daily from 12pm to 5pm.
• ASK Italian – Kids eat for £1 with an adult purchase during the half term holiday.
• Banana Tree – One free kids’ meal per adult main meal. Available Sunday to Friday between the 25^th and the 30^th May at participating restaurants.
• Bella Italia – Kids eat free all day on Thursdays, and for £1 until 6pm from Sunday to Wednesday.
• Bill’s Restaurants – Two kids eat for free when one adult orders a main dish, from 26^th to 30^th May 2025.
• BrewDog – One free kids’ meal when purchasing an adult main. Must use booking type 'KIDS EAT FREE' and children must be under 13. Offer valid Saturday 24^th May to Sunday 1^st June in England & Wales, or Saturday 24^th May to Monday 26^th May in Scotland.
• Burger King – One free King Jr. meal per adult burger meal ordered on the Burger King app. Available between 26^th May and 1^st June 2025 in selected restaurants only (not including motorway service locations, airports, train stations, and holiday parks)
• Cinnamon Collection – Kids under 12 eat free from the children’s menu with an adult purchase from the à la carte menu at select locations (Cinnamon Bazaar Richmond, Cinnamon Bazaar Covent Garden, Cinnamon Kitchen Battersea, Cinnamon Kitchen City) from Saturday 5^th April to Monday 27^th 2025.
• Côte Brasserie – Kids aged 12 and under get two free courses when parents have signed up to their newsletter and spend a minimum of £20. Available from Friday 23^rd May to Saturday 1^st June.
• Franco Manca – Kids 12 and under get a free kids' pizza for every full-priced adult main. Available Monday to Thursday in selected restaurants.
• Frankie & Benny’s – Kids get a free meal from the kids’ menu with the purchase of each adult main course. Available from Friday 23rd May to Sunday 1st June 2025 and valid for up to six guests per table.
• Gordon Ramsay Restaurants – One kid under 10 can eat free from the kids’ menu per adult ordering two courses from the à la carte menu. Offer runs all day, every day, but they advise calling ahead to check the offer is running at the location you’re visiting.
• Hinnies – Kids up to age 12 eat free with an adult main course purchase. Offer valid Tuesday to Friday until end of November 2025.
• Las Iguanas – Kids under 12 eat free through the My Las Iguanas App.
• Marco Pierre White – Kids eat free with an adult meal.
• Preto – Kids under 10 eat free with a full-paying adult. Available all day on weekends and from 4pm on weekdays. Requires a downloadable voucher.
• TGI Fridays – Kids eat free, all day, every day, with any adult main meal for Stripes Rewards members.
• The Coal Shed – Kids under 7 eat free before 7pm.
• The Coconut Tree – One child aged 10 and under eats free per paying adult. Available between Sunday 25^th May 2025 and Sunday 1^st June 2025.
• The Real Greek – Free meal for kids under 12 for every £15 spent by an adult on Sundays.
• YO! Sushi – Up to three kids under 12 eat free all day with an adult spending a minimum of £10. Available during local school holidays.

Cafés and garden centres

• Asda Cafés – Kids' meals are 60p throughout May 2025, including May half term week. Offer available in 205 stores nationwide.
• Dobbies Garden Centres – Kids eat for £1 (including a drink) with the purchase of an adult main course.
• IKEA – Kids’ meals starting from 95p, available daily from 11am.
• Morrisons Cafés – One free kids' meal with any adult meal purchase over £4.50.
• Pausa Cafés at Dunelm – Kids eat free with every £4 spent in the café.
• Purezza – Kids under 10 get a free mini pizza with every adult meal.

Pubs

• Beefeater – Two kids under 16 eat breakfast for free per paying adult.
• Brains Pubs – Kids eat for £1 with the purchase of an adult main meal on Wednesdays.
• Brewers Fayre – Two kids under 16 eat breakfast for free with every adult breakfast purchased.
• Farmhouse Inns – Two kids eat free (including a scoop of ice cream) when you purchase one adult main, from 23^rd to 30^th May. Must sign up to their newsletter by the 14^th May and show a voucher at the till when you order.
• Hungry Horse – Two kids can eat for as little as £1 for every full-paying adult on Mondays from 12pm.
• Sizzling Pubs – Kids eat for £1 with the purchase of an adult main. Available Monday to Friday, 3–7pm, or from 12pm during school holidays.
• Table Table – Two kids under 16 eat breakfast for free with every adult breakfast purchased.

Hotels & travel stops

• Bar + Block – Two children under 16 can eat breakfast for free per adult who purchases a full Premier Inn breakfast.
• Future Inns – Under 5s eat free with any adult meal.
• Heathrow (Various Restaurants) – Kids eat free from 26^th May to 2^nd
• Holiday Inn – Two kids eat for free per adult guest who orders a full-priced main.
• Premier Inn – Two kids eat breakfast for free with a paying adult.
• Travelodge – Children under 15 get breakfast for £1 per full-paying adult.

Attractions

• Barbican Kitchen – Free meal for kids under 10 with every adult meal over £10 purchased.
• Coral Island (Blackpool) – One free under 10 kids’ meal per adults’ meal. All day, every day.
• F1 Arcade Birmingham – One free breakfast (10am-12pm) or main meal for kids aged 12 and under with the purchase of an adult meal. Available from Monday 26th May to Friday 30th May.
• Tenpin – Kids eat free when you book two junior games on Mondays.
